The Tesla Roadster is very close to what we have in the mind for the OSSEV®, albeit larger, faster and with a much greater range and price tag! It is also a 'fast back' with four seats and a sloping rear window. The plan for the OSSEV® is something more like the Lotus Elise S1, with two seats, rear buttresses and a vertical rear window underneath the roll bar.
Zero EV is a company doing EV conversions on existing cars. They also run some on-line and location based training courses. They also have a series of YouTube videos where they convert an NB Mazda MX-5 to electric power.
